Events

 

We have made two trips to Scotland, have spent a weekend in Cornwall, made two trips to Steepholm and been on Safari in Exmoor!

 

There have been several visits to local places of interest, including some members visiting Laycock Abbey, Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Stourbridge House and Gardens and Weston Quarry.

 

Our programme is always full and we have several events planned for the future including an experience with Wolves, a Trip to the Eden Project and revisits to Slimbridge and Stourhead.

 

In early summer we are spending a weekend in North Wales to photograph the magnificent scenery there and later in the year we are again spending a week in Scotland extending our skills and techniques photographing the stunning mountains and lochs.

This delightful restaurant situated in West Street, Grove Village is within 100 yards of The Playhouse Theatre in Weston-super-Mare. They exhibited several members' photographs, giving an opportunity for the public to see our excellent work. Pop along and see them. David Rowley Visit - 2009
We invited internationally famous Photoshop Guru to the Weston-super-Mare Winter Gardens to give us a talk and some demonstrations. David has now become a firm friend of our club and will be joining us on our trip to Scotland later in the year.

This is one of two islands in the Severn Estuary. It was cold and wet, but the photography made it so worth while that many of us braved it again the following year.
